A source of life, ritual, and architecture,

water has travelled with me like a companion, city to city, country to country.

Or I have been invited instead, to witness its scarcity and abundance,

to listen, to talk, to see, to reflect.

A ghat is a series of steps leading down to a body of water, used for bathing, washing, and performing rituals.
